Well, looks like Chef wins this round. Our marketing manager didn’t hit the 50 shares, and Chef has been very smug about it ever since. So yes, no permanent croffle on the menu (for now).
But in true Chef fashion, he couldn’t resist creating something anyway.
Introducing this off-the-menu surprise: Croissant & Butter Pudding, his playful take on the classic. Buttery croissants baked until the edges turn lightly crisp, soaking up a rich, custardy centre that’s soft, warm and indulgent. Think caramelised golden tops, fluffy interiors, and that deep, comforting richness that lingers with every bite.

We’re letting you in on a little kitchen secret at La Table d’Emma.
Chef has been baking croissants so good, the team can’t stop talking about them. Deeply buttery, beautifully layered, with that perfect crisp exterior that shatters gently before revealing a soft, fluffy interior. The kind of croissant that makes you pause after the first bite.
And when we pressed one into the waffle iron, the croffle happened!
Golden, caramelised edges, crisp and flaky outside, warm and airy inside. Honestly, it might just be one of the best things we’ve tasted in the kitchen lately.
