After a month of powerful and emotional sets from our residents and guests — thank you to everyone who made this last chapter special.
Now it’s Todd Bates who closes it.
A loyal resident from day one. Month in, month out. Solid house music, always with heart. It feels right that he brings this era to its final night.
Bayside stays open. The sunsets stay. The vibe stays.
Just no more live DJ nights.
So this Friday isn’t about goodbye.
It’s about celebrating what we built together.

After winning a Pioneer DJ competition, she got booked with us last year — and quickly became a beloved resident.
Her sets are infectious.

MIKE RISK — 4 YEARS AT BAYSIDE
Before The Last Dance, we asked him to reflect.
FIRST SET
I was asked by .m.x to play at Bayside.
It was the first weekend venues were allowed to book DJs again after the crazy COVID period. I hadn’t played in over a year. I hadn’t even heard of Bayside, thought it was just a small bar.
Then I arrived.
An intimate outdoor spot. Killer skyline view. Proper sound system. You can really play at full strength there. Open air, city lights, no ceiling.
I remember thinking: wow.
Loved playing there. Wanted to play there again.
Well… the rest is history.
WHAT MADE BAYSIDE DIFFERENT?
Its spirit.
Low key. No pretence. Good sound.
And that view, the entire CBD framed as your decor.
WHAT DID THESE 4 YEARS TEACH YOU?
Consistency matters.
Community matters more.
WHAT WAS THE MOST UNEXPECTED MOMENT DURING THESE YEARS?
The fireworks nights.
Some evenings felt like an urban festival. The whole boulevard packed with people, music flowing into the city, fireworks exploding above the skyline.
Free decor. Great energy.
WHAT DOES THE LAST DANCE MEAN TO YOU?
Every end is a new beginning.
Every challenge is an opportunity.
And above all, I'm thankful.
Thank you Ed, Manish, IMX, all resident and guest deejays, and the entire Bayside team for the many great nights. It has been a pleasure.

This week we welcome Gohdelocks for her very first set at Bayside.

For the final time, Mike Risk takes the booth at Bayside.
For years he’s helped shape our sound, our Fridays, our dancefloor memories. This Friday he closes it down one last time, the only way he knows how.

CNY indulgence or not, we’re moving.

Both have been part of Bayside’s story for many years, first introduced and brought together here by dj

Their monthly night was always full of serious fun and musical surprises.
No shortcuts. No gimmicks.
Just deep digging, long journeys, and a dancefloor that knew exactly why it was there.
Over time, they built a loyal community — people who showed up to let go, get loose, and dance it out together.

DEBUT | JUST IN TIME FOR THE LAST DANCE
Some moments arrive exactly when they’re meant to.
This Saturday, DJ Manaslu makes his debut at Bayside, just in time for The Last Dance.
February is a special month for us.
It marks the final chapter of our DJ nights before we pause our DJ programming from March onwards.
A farewell month filled with intention, emotion, and music that means something.
DJ Manaslu’s sound fits this moment perfectly. Rooted in organic, deep and melodic house, his sets are crafted as a journey, inspired by the spirit of the Himalayan peak and the Sanskrit word manasa, meaning soul or spirit.
Expect a slow build, emotive atmospheres, and rhythms that ground you before lifting you higher.
This isn’t about hype.
It’s about feeling.

And being present for a moment that won’t come around again.

How is it already the last day of the month?
January really said blink and I’m gone.
This Saturday at Bayside, we close it properly with DJ Yenn alongside Merah.
She’s back with that effortless blend of house, afrohouse and amapiano. The kind of music that lifts the room, loosens shoulders, and keeps the energy floating all night.
If you caught her last set, you already felt it. If you didn’t… yeah, don’t make that mistake twice.
