Dancing Crabโs Black Pepper Crab ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Youโll notice the black pepper crab looks a little different. The sauce is a velvety black, full of chefโs secret pepper blend. One secret ingredient is Pfeffer schwarz gewaltz, crushed German black pepper; it is less sharp and bitter than Chinese black pepper but retains a lot of flavor when crushed. ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Dancing Crab glazes chopped Indian onions (which are fragrant and sweeter than standard yellow onions), and blends them together into the sauce to retain texture and give sweetness to the sauce. The velvety texture is from using โPlantaโ, a margarine many Singaporeans are familiar with since childhood. A helping of spring onions and a bit of garlic is added to the sauce, before it is reduced into a thick sauce. Weโve also added baked corn on the cob so diners can keep on dippinโ into Dancing Crabโs addictive black pepper sauce. ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
