An official recognition presented by the Embassy of Mexico in Singapore, and awarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico and the Mexican Academy of Gastronomy to establishments that proudly preserve and share authentic Mexican cuisine around the world.
For us, this means so much more than an award.

Ever wonder why cilantro (coriander) shows up in basically everything Mexican? 🌿🇲🇽
Cilantro became a signature herb in Mexican cuisine because it’s the perfect match for the way Mexicans build flavour: fresh + bright + bold. It was introduced through Spanish influence centuries ago, and it stuck — not just because it grows well in warm climates, but because it does something magical to food: it lifts rich dishes, cuts through heat, and makes citrus + chilli + onion taste even more alive.
That’s why you’ll find it everywhere from salsas and guac to soups and street snacks — it’s the herb that makes flavours feel “finished.”

**Public Transport:**
1. **MRT:** Take the MRT to Chinatown Station (NE4 on the North East Line).
- Exit the station and head towards Pagoda Street.
- Walk along Pagoda Street until you reach Smith Street, then turn left.
- Continue straight until you reach Keong Saik Road; it will be a short walk from there.
2. **Bus:** You can also take bus services that stop near Keong Saik Road. Look for buses such as 143, 147, or 175.
- Alight at the nearest bus stop along Keong Saik Road or nearby streets like Teo Hong Road or Neil Road.
