" A Malay/Asian kitchen can't be white. Just wait until the sambal, turmeric, rendang, curry, dark soy sauce stains appear."
That's probably the comment I've heard the most before creating this kitchen.
Today, it's been more than a year and a half.
Still white. Still cream. Still standing. ๐
I've come to realise that the issue isn't the colour of the kitchen.
It's the habits & discipline of the people using it. Wouldn't you agree?

Selamat Hari Bapa, Ayah... โค๏ธ
Sudah lebih 6 tahun ayah pergi meninggalkan kami pada 20hb April 2020.
Namun sehingga hari ini, ada saat-saat tertentu yang membuatkan saya berhenti seketika...
Saya masih menyimpan perbualan & video kita berdua..
Kadang-kadang saya putarkan semula hanya untuk mendengar suara ayah.
Bukan kerana saya tidak reda...
Tetapi kerana saya terlalu rindu.
Rindu untuk mendengar ayah memanggil nama saya.
Hari ini ramai melihat saya ketawa, memasak, bekerja ....
Tetapi mereka tidak tahu, setiap kejayaan yang saya capai, saya masih mencari kelibat seorang lelaki yang paling saya ingin banggakan.
Ayah.
Al-Fatihah buat Allahyarham Hj Samsudin Bin Ismail.
Semoga Allah SWT mengampuni segala dosa ayah, melapangkan kuburnya, menerangi alam barzakh ayah dan menempatkan ayah di syurga tertinggi bersama orang-orang yang beriman.

Alhamdulillah.
Hari ini, Kutipan Tabung Jumaat TAA Trust Fund berlangsung di masjid-masjid seluruh Singapura.
Sebagai Duta TAA selama 10 tahun, saya berpeluang melihat sendiri bagaimana sumbangan masyarakat membantu meringankan beban golongan yang memerlukan.
Tiada sumbangan yang terlalu kecil. Setiap dolar yang dihulurkan membawa sinar harapan dan membuka ruang untuk mereka meneruskan kehidupan dengan lebih baik.
Seikhlas Kasih, Berjuta Harapan.
Semoga Allah SWT menerima amal jariah kita dan mengurniakan ganjaran yang berlipat ganda. Aamiin3YRA.

What an inspiring experience judging the inaugural 15M Hungry Games at NHG Healthiverse 2026! ๐จ๐ปโ๐ณ
All participants had to prepare a healthier version of fried rice, and I was amazed by the diverse flavours, creativity and teamwork displayed by everyone.
From young participants aged 10 to seniors in their 80s, the passion for cooking was truly heartwarming.
What stood out most was the strong support from family and friends cheering them on every step of the way. โค๏ธ
Congratulations to all participants and winners, and a big thank you to the organisers .
