It's been quite a while since I made this Persian Love Cake, a cake that's so underrated! A simple Animals-themed cake ordered by a lil sis for her son's 2nd birthday! 😍 She was very specific about the animals she wanted (or rather, her son wanted!) and the overall look and feel she wanted for the cake to match the decor and balloons she ordered for the party, and as usual, I do my best to comply! 😄 This was a marble cake with dark chocolate ganache filling and vanilla swiss meringue buttercream frosting. For public transportation :
- Take the MRT to Yio Chu Kang Station.
- Take Bus 70 from Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange and get down at the bus stop along Ang Mo Kio Ave 5.
- From there, walk towards Jalan Selaseh and turn left after the traffic light. Walk straight until you see the shop.
For driving and parking:
- Drive along Sengkang West Way or Buangkok Drive towards Jalan Kayu.
- Turn into Jalan Selaseh and continue straight until you see the shop on your right.
- There is limited roadside parking available along Jalan Selaseh. Alternatively, there is a nearby multi-storey car park at Greenwich V (located about a 10-minute walk away).

During Ramadan, Roses & Cream offered a special sweet and savoury combo box that was perfect for sharing during Sunday iftar or as a gift. For just $38, customers received a box of 2 spinach & mushroom quiche and 2 tomato cheese puffs, as well as a box of brownies (8"x4"). The limited boxes were quickly snapped up by eager customers.
