FatCrab FatCrab is a food delivery service located on Bedok South Road. The restaurant only works on Saturdays and customers can make their orders through WhatsApp at 90998432. FatCrab has announced that they will be taking an indefinite break starting from January 1, 2022. A heartfelt message was posted on their social media page thanking their family, friends, and supporters for their continued support in their B2C brand.

Hi everyone!

Louis here. Thank you to everyone for your continued messages and support. Quick update on Fatcrab. Since early this year, we had sold our restaurant distribution business, and only focused on some wholesale and trading. In the past few months we have also been looking for suitable buyers to take over the e-commerce business, but to no avail.

I have also found another full time job. Thus for FatCrab, I will be able to continue to serve our dear customers, but only on a part-time basis! (on Saturdays). Forgive me if I don't reply messages as quickly as we used to.

It will be a one-man show.. To minimize costs, I will be shutting down our website and just use Facebook. I have also returned the stall to NEA. For self collection/ cutting of crabs, I work with my neighbour, at stall 01-191. For the crab supplies, I source and pick them from other importers, thus all orders will be on reservation basis (: I will also be limiting myself to 5 orders per Saturday. I still enjoy choosing great crabs for my customers, but not at the stressful pace we did in the past.

If you frequent the bedok south market, you will notice our original corner stall (01-190) is manned by an auntie who used to work for us. The stall belongs in name to her husband, and they are selling crabs as well. Just to make clear that the crabs sold there are not under my purview (: definitely no hard feelings or competition or anything like that, feel free to patronize anywhere you like!

~ Break From 1 January 2022 Onwards~

To the FatCrab Family/Friends/Supporters 🦀,

When we started FatCrab in Apr 2020 to branch out of our main restaurant supply business, all our friends and family gave us tremendous support. We would have shut down a long time ago if not for you. Every good review and happy customer has been our constant source of joy and motivation to keep going ❤️😍

During the last few weeks we deliberated about the future of our company. After lengthy discussions, we have decided to close down our restaurant supply business. FatCrab, as a B2C brand, remains.

While also considering FatCrab's long term direction, we thought it might be a good time now to take an indefinite break. We will be back!!

To reach Bedok South Road in Bedok, you can take the MRT to Bedok station and then transfer to bus 14 or 225. Take the bus towards New Upper Changi Road and alight at the bus stop opposite Temasek Secondary School. Walk straight ahead until you reach Bedok South Road.

Alternatively, if you're driving, you can take the PIE towards Changi Airport and exit at Eunos Link. Merge onto Still Road South and turn right onto New Upper Changi Road. Turn left onto Bedok South Avenue 1 and continue straight until you reach Bedok South Road. Parking is available along the road or in nearby car parks.
