Alaturka is where the vegetarian table opens up.
Warm pide, fresh watermelon, herbs and feta bring more range, more contrast, and a stronger sense of sharing. It's not just a few plates but a generous meal taking shape.

The vegetarian table is far more abundant at Alaturka. Built around dips, warm bread, crisp bites, grilled vegetables, fresh salads and something sweet to finish, it is the kind of meal that feels generous, varied and easy to share.

This is the kind of table we love most — a few meze to begin, something warm, something fresh, a generous platter at the centre, and something sweet to end. Built for sharing, and even better when it unfolds slowly.

Some meals are about the individual plate in front of you.
Ours is often about the entire table itself — dishes passed across, bread torn and shared, someone helping themselves to a little more, the meal settling into a rhythm together.
That feeling of generosity and ease is a big part of what we love about the Alaturka table.

The joy of a good table is in the mix.
A little dipping, a little tearing, something warm, something fresh, something from the fire, and something sweet at the end.
When everyone reaches in and there's a lot of sharing, the table feels complete.

Table for 4, please!

A very good table for 2 usually begins the same way at Alaturka:
ekmek, hummus, muhammara, then something warm like grilled cauliflower, then, a shared main like our Land & Sea sampler and Künefe Plus to finish.
A meal that unfolds easily, and feels complete without overdoing it.

A good table for 2 begins with meze.
Warm bread, a couple of dips, something from the kitchen, then a proper sampler to share.
Simple, generous, and easy to enjoy.

If you’re dining as 2, here’s one very easy way to order well at Alaturka.
Start with village bread, hummus and muhammara, add a warm plate like our grilled cauliflower, then share a main like the Land & Sea sampler.
If you want to finish properly, Turkish coffee jelly does the job very nicely.
Simple, balanced, generous — and no danger of over-ordering.

Dinner for 2?
Start with bread - hummus, muhammara.
Share a few things at the beginning and let the table build from there.

Somehow, seafood always ends up shared. A plate here, another arriving, and everyone settles in.

A few dishes around the table — stuffed mussels, grilled prawns, salmon — and the meal begins to take its shape.
Simple, generous, and meant to be enjoyed together.

A good way to start the table is to take a little from the sea, one or two mezes and fresh warm bread.

Our stuffed mussels are a proper first plate, and a good place to begin.

A proper vegetarian meal needs more than a few dishes around the edges. It needs something warm, generous, and worth gathering around too.
Our vegetarian musakka does exactly that — rich, comforting, and built to hold its place at the table.

A vegetarian meal at Alaturka starts with warm bread and mezes, moves into crisp favourites, settles into something rich and comforting, and ends on something sweet. These are not side dishes added in as an afterthought. They are proper dishes for the table — made to be shared, ordered together, and enjoyed as a satisfying meal.

Start here - warm bread, proper mezes, and a vegetarian table that begins exactly as it should: generous from the start.

A generous table deserves a proper finish. For us, that ending is often künefe.
