A Founderโs Reflection
Today, we hosted a crochet meetup for a group of teenagers at La Saigon.
What touched me most was their authenticity.
There were no games, no formal introductions, no trending activities, and no Instagram-worthy setups. They simply gathered around a table, ordered a drink to support our cafรฉ, shared what they had been making, and encouraged one another to improve.
At one point, I overheard them reminding each other: โSupport small businesses.โ
As a small family cafรฉ, that meant more to us than they know.
I left feeling hopeful. If this is the next generation, they are growing up with kindness, creativity, and community.
We wish them well in the years ahead and hope to continue supporting them, just as they have supported us. โค๏ธ
