It’s that time, the final countdown and The Mad Sailors last ever Friday at Haji Lane. Mr Yani has been serving Fish and Chips with us for the last three years and he’ll be here until our last hour on the lane. Pop in and say bye but remember it’s not goodbye forever 🥹

We’re taking a trip not down Haji Lane but memory lane this week. It’s exactly 6 years and 4 days ago that we had the Mad Sailors market. Crew members had the opportunity to sell vintage clothes and little artworks they made

We’ve been sitting here for a few weeks trying to figure out how to say this so here we go…⠀

With a heavy heart, tears and a pinch of anxiety we’ve made the big decision to move out of Haji Lane. As a group, it’s been one of the hardest choices ever to make. It’s not easy giving up a space you’ve fallen truly in love with, it’s a home to many of us. ⠀

The Mad Sailors has been at the heart of Haji Lane for six long years, to say it’s been easy would be an understatement. Growth comes with heart breaking lessons, painful laughter and learning that a decision has to be made without fully comprehending the effects it will have. ⠀

Not to worry too much we’ll be back better, stronger and wiser. We’re just not sure which lane, drive, road, river or street we’ll land on yet. It might take 3 months or it might take 3 years, but one thing is certain - we’ll be back. We’ll be sure to keep you all informed along our journey. ⠀
