We are honoured to share that Foreword Coffee has been recognised as Singapore’s awardee at the ASEAN Inclusive Business Awards, presented during the Ninth ASEAN Inclusive Business Forum in Manila, Philippines 🇸🇬🇵🇭

Foreword Coffee was recognised alongside businesses from across all 11 ASEAN member states that demonstrate how businesses can create meaningful economic opportunities for communities that are often underserved.

A big thank you to RAISE SG for nominating Foreword Coffee for this recognition, and for journeying alongside social enterprises like us as we work towards creating both business and social impact.

Our Co-founder, Nadi Chan, represented Foreword Coffee in Manila to receive the award on behalf of our team.

We look forward to continuing this journey, learning from fellow inclusive businesses across ASEAN, and showing that business growth and social impact can go hand in hand. ☕️

We are staying up late at Temasek Shophouse!

In conjunction with GREEN-HOUSE by Pass It On Studio this weekend and the SG Night Fest happening now, our cafe at Temasek Shophouse will stay open till 845pm on the coming two weekends ✨🌝

Due to limited seats this weekend, we request for customers to bring your own cups for your coffee to reduce diposables (you get a BYOC discount!)

Wei Chiang took the leap of faith to learn barista skills with us and has never looked back since. He went on to develop his latte art skills on his own, out of his own interest ☕️

With support from his parent and job coach, Wei Chiang has been working with us over the past 2 years, serving coffee with pride 🤩

We are now recruiting for our next Barista and F&B Service Skills training. Swipe to find out more!

With support from SG Enable’s Enabling Academy, Foreword Coffee is excited to offer two training programmes for persons with disabilities looking to work in the F&B industry, with a focus on specialty coffee service!

Since 2017, we stayed true to our social misson on providing training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and those in-recovery from mental health issues.

We are thrilled to announce our new space! We’ve partnered with Procter & Gamble Singapore to establish their in-house café that aims to do more than just serve coffee—it’s about creating genuine employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and special needs within a corporate environment. For the first time, we are expanding our offerings beyond our usual espresso-based drinks to include local favourites like kopi and kaya toast.

Thanks to the support from Procter & Gamble Singapore, this café will also serve as a training ground for internships with SPED students, providing them with valuable real-world experience and a pathway to employment with Foreword Coffee. Additionally, we have dedicated space for social enterprises to showcase and sell their merchandise, starting with .gifting as our first featured partner.

This initiative represents a meaningful step towards realizing what inclusive workplaces can look like—one cup of coffee (and one kaya toast) at a time.
