Where to start. In 2002 I landed in Phoenix, Arizona for about 6 months as a trainee for the restaurant group I was working for. Consistently, I would make my way to and hope to grab a stool at the counter or as many nights would go, wait an hour or more, having a drink with Chris's brother at the bar next door till a spot opened up. It never felt long, it just always felt right.
That's just it, what Chris, and the team has created, in my eyes, is the greatest restaurant on earth. Truth. Everything just makes sense, the place, the people, the pizza, it's just, well, right.
remains my north star. Thank you for being all things good in this crazy world. Friends, if you ever find yourself in LA or Phoenix, you must visit.
I saw and recently in NY at the Pizza Sessions, my gratitude is immense. 🙏

Pizza Chef, Pizzaiolo aka Pizza Master!!! Chef Keong has been slinging pies since Day 1. For those wondering, that's 8 years
Soft spoken but incredibly detailed, he has the patience and knowledge that only comes from working on perfecting a craft. Dough production, shaping and cooking well over 100 pizzas a day is no easy feat. He is constantly bouncing in and out of the kitchen to check on the dining room so if you see him and you like your pizza, give him a high five!
