Prices for raw ingredients have been on rise, some more than others. As such, effective on 17th October, we will be rolling out our revised menu! There are quite a lot of changes, so bear with us!

The main change will be our shift to having our proteins tied with mandatory 2 sides as we have received countless feedback from new customers that a fully ala-carte menu is confusing and in some ways, intimidating. Wafuken has always been about being the starting point to change people’s stigma on healthy eating, with this change, we hope that it will be easier to convert people onto healthier eating habits! At the same time, regulars do not despair! You are still able to add-on proteins and sides as you please.

You may also have noticed that we have downsized our menu. Unfortunately, in order to cope with the manpower crunch and rising ingredient cost, a smaller menu will allow us to do that and additionally focus on the quality of each item better. For the same reason, Salmon and Oyster Blade Steak will be limited daily. On that note, in view of the year-on-year GST hike that is incoming, we will no longer be able to absorb GST.

Finally, with all of these menu changes, we will be introducing seasonal sides in the near future to provide more variety at a controlled pace. So in other words, the menu that you see right now will be our staples! As usual, we are always welcoming of feedback, so do drop us a DM anytime!

Asian fusion restaurants are known for their unique blend of flavors and techniques from different parts of Asia. Wafuken, located in Shenton Way, Singapore, is a prime example of an Asian fusion restaurant that offers guilt-free meals that are both delicious and healthy.

At Wafuken, they serve Wafu Cuisine cooked with modern techniques. Co-founder Jake Pang's personal journey to find the best method for a balanced diet led him to start an enterprise that caters to like-minded individuals who don't have the luxury of time to prepare their own meals. With co-founder Edmund Goh's expertise in the culinary field, they created Wafuken.

The name "Wafuken" is derived from "Wafu," which is a Japanese style of western cuisine, and "Ken" from Kenko, which means wellness in Japanese. This Japanese twist on healthy meals sets them apart from other cuisines as Japanese cuisine is generally healthy to begin with.

Wafuken specializes in Sous-Vide cooking and strives to serve proteins at their optimal doneness. Their dishes are well-received by the majority of the public who have tried them. So if you're looking for a guilt-free meal that tastes good and is good for your body, head over to Wafuken and give them a try! For more information, visit their website at http://www.wafuken.com/.
