If you've been putting off sterilising your cat, here's why it's worth doing sooner rather than later. ๐พ
It's not just about preventing unplanned litters, though with Singapore's stray cat population already a real concern, that matters too. Sterilisation also lowers the risk of certain reproductive illnesses later in life, reduces heat-related stress like yowling and spraying, and for male cats, means fewer reasons to roam, fight, or get injured outdoors.
It's a decision that affects your cat's whole life, not just today, but years down the line.
Ready to talk about it, or just have questions first? Message us. Procedures like this need to be booked in advance, and we're happy to walk you through the whole process, pricing included.

Not every symptom can wait until tomorrow.
Bring your pet in today if you notice:
1. Laboured or noisy breathing
2. No interest in food or water for over 24 hours
3. Pale or grey gums, or sudden difficulty standing/walking
When in doubt, don't wait it out.
Save this for the next time you're unsure. Walk-ins welcome.

Quick gut check: how old do you think your cat actually is? ๐ฑ
Not in cat years but in human years. Because the honest answer might surprise you.
That 7-year-old sitting on your lap right now? Roughly a 44-year-old. That "still acts like a kitten" 11-year-old? Already in senior territory.
Cats don't really announce their age the way we do, no grey hairs creeping in slowly, no obvious milestones. They just quietly move through these stages while we keep thinking of them as "still young."
So, from this post which stage is your cat actually in? Comment below!

Loving your dog is easy. Actually understanding them takes a bit more work. ๐พ
A wagging tail isn't always a happy one. "Slowing down" isn't always just age. Real care means noticing the difference, and knowing when what you're seeing needs more than a search bar.
Take the pledge: drop a ๐พ below if you're in.

Knowing what NOT to do in a pet emergency matters just as much as knowing what to do. ๐พ
Panic makes people skip steps or make things worse โ inducing vomiting on the wrong substance, giving the wrong medication, moving an injured pet incorrectly.
A few worth explaining:
โ Some emergencies (poisoning, internal injuries, swallowed objects) don't show symptoms for hours. Don't wait for things to look bad before acting.
โ If your pet's been in an accident, support them on a towel or firm board rather than picking them up as usual, there could be injuries you can't see.
โ Never give human medication unless a vet has told you to. Even common painkillers can be toxic to pets.
The most useful step happens before anything goes wrong: save a vet's number now, while you're calm. We're a walk-in clinic, no appointment needed if the moment actually comes.

๐ฑ Why is your cat always climbing to the highest spot?
Cats naturally seek out high places because they help them feel safe, observe their surroundings, and stay active. It's a normal instinct that allows them to explore their environment with confidence.
Providing safe climbing options like cat trees or window perches can help satisfy this natural behaviour while keeping your cat safe at home.

๐ถ๐ฑ Why Do Healthy Pets Still Need Vet Visits?
Many pet parents think vet visits are only needed when their pet is sick โ but prevention matters just as much.

โ Monitor weight and nutrition
โ Check dental health
โ Keep vaccinations on track
โ Support long-term wellbeing
A pet that looks healthy can still have hidden issues developing quietly.

Pets are creatures of habit.
Eating slower, sleeping more, drinking differently, or acting quieter can sometimes be small clues that something feels different.
You know your pet best, noticing changes early matters โค๏ธ
