Funny how some chapters only make sense much later.
What felt like a small part of Chulop!’s story ended up shaping so much of who we are today. It changed how we work, how we grow, and even how we decide what comes next.
And maybe that’s the thing about building something you really care about. Not every chapter needs to be a big win. Some are there to teach you enough for the next one.
Now, a year into 56 Haji Lane, we’re still learning. Just with a lot more of you along for the ride. ❤️

11 years ago, we started with a small kiosk, a simple idea and a whole lot of belief.
But the vision has always been bigger than just selling churros.
We want churros to become an evergreen snack. Something you think of just like cookies, doughnuts or ice cream. Something you bring to a party, send as a gift, share with the family, or simply crave on a random afternoon.
And 11 years later, we’re still working towards that.
We’ve had our ups and downs, learnt plenty along the way and evolved more times than I can count. But one thing hasn’t changed our belief that there’s still so much more we can do with this humble snack.
From that little kiosk in East Village to where we are today… we’re still building, still dreaming and still making churros.❤️

To get to the restaurant at Upper Changi Road #01-59 East Village in Singapore, there are a few options for public transport. You can take the MRT on the Downtown Line and alight at Tampines East Station, then transfer to bus number 2 or 9 and alight at the Bedok Food Centre stop. From there, walk towards Upper Changi Road and you will find the restaurant.
If you prefer driving, you can take either the PIE or ECP expressway and exit at Bedok North Road. Turn onto New Upper Changi Road and continue until you see East Village on your left. There is parking available at the mall.
