You must be wondering about the strange rules we have - We’ve put this together in hopes that it will clarify things. If you have any more doubts to add, please do raise them!

🥩Rubicon Steakhouse is a Japanese steakhouse that serves 100% Hokkaido beef (a wagyu crossbreed)!

⏰Last order at LUNCH is 14:00, and 21:00 for DINNER

📱We ONLY accept reservations/inquiries through WhatsApp messages, our team is too small to take your calls.

📱Please do let us know as soon as you can if you wish to cancel (at least 24h before), or to amend your reservation.

💰SGD30 deposit per diner would be forfeited in the case of last-minute changes (without notice) in the number of guests.

⏰Our DINNER reservation time slots are strictly 18:00-20:00 or 20:00-22:00, please do inform us if you are going to be late, as it might delay the next seating.

🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻We are a very small team, operating this way is best for us to ensure fairness for every guest. It’ll facilitate service to allow us to serve you best!

Why don’t we serve condiments (apart from the ones on the menu)?

Our food went through a meandering process of trial and error to ensure that they’re of optimal taste and presentation before they reach you, adding anything else after would spoil our intention.

So no, we do not provide any additional condiments (salt, pepper, ketchup, chilli, mayonnaise etc.).

But, you may ask for it to be more/less seasoned when you order. We’ll do our best to suit your request.

What grade is your beef?

The beef we have here doesn’t follow the standard wagyu grading, but the closest would be A3-A4. We only source the best graded within the best of our abilities, though the meat can vary by batches.

As we only serve our beef by 250g, 500g, 1kg - the beef we source is best suited to the palate we want you to experience.

Where is your beef from?

Hokkaido, Japan! We don’t only source from one specific farm, but farms all over Hokkaido. Cows are nurtured healthily within the clean air and water of Hokkaido, where temperature and humidity are low throughout the year.

Do you have anything complimentary for birthdays/anniversaries?

As we are a very small team, we currently do not provide any sort of complimentary service. But we’ll do our best to cater when circumstances allow!

Corkage or cake fee?

It is at a reasonable price of SGD15 per 750ml bottle or cake (if you consume it in the restaurant), for an extra effort by our small team. We’d appreciate your kind understanding!

Do you accept takeaway?

Of course! Dinner pick up time is at 18:00, any other time requests will depend on the traffic in-store.

Please do let us know your order at least 2 hours before your pick up time, to allow us for necessary preparation.

We also can’t guarantee your required doneness for takeaway as it’ll still be cooking a little under the foil with the leftover heat. It’ll usually be about medium doneness when you arrive at your location. But we’ll do our best to adjust!

To get to Thomson Imperial Court in Singapore, you can take the MRT and alight at Novena Station (NS20), take Exit B and walk towards Thomson Road. Alternatively, you can also take buses 21 or 56 from the bus stop opposite Lucky Plaza along Orchard Road and alight at the bus stop opposite Novena Church, which is located along Thomson Road.

If you are driving, you may park at the multi-storey carpark located within Thomson Imperial Court itself. To access the carpark, turn into Irrawaddy Road from Thomson Road and drive straight ahead until you reach the entrance of the carpark on your right-hand side.
