EL Cubanos was a vibrant café, sandwich shop, and Latin American restaurant located on Short Street. Established in 2015, the restaurant offered halal certified Cuban-style pressed sandwiches and founder-favorite dishes with an array of mouth-watering mocktails. EL Cubanos was a go-to spot for brunch, lunch or dinner with its eclectic warm décor reminiscent of lively Old Havana. Unfortunately, this restaurant has been permanently closed.

For the café and sandwich shop and Latin American restaurant and cafe located at Short Street, there are several options available for transportation.
Public transport:
1. Alight at Bugis MRT Station (EW12/DT14) and take Exit A. Walk straight along Victoria Street until you reach Bras Basah Road. Turn left onto Bras Basah road and continue walking until you reach Short Street on your right.
2. Take buses 23, 48, 57, 64, 65, 131, 139 or NR7 to the bus stop opposite Sim Lim Tower along Rochor Canal Road. Walk towards Rochor Road and continue straight until you reach Short Street on your left.
Driving/Parking:
1. From North Bridge Road, turn right onto Queen Street. Turn right again onto Waterloo Street then right onto Middle Road before turning left onto Prinsep Street. Finally turn left again onto Short Street where parking is available in nearby car parks.
2. From Rochor Canal Road, turn into Ophir Road then turn right into North Bridge Road before turning left into High Street. Take a final left turn into Liang Seah St then follow it to Middle Rd where you'll make another left before turning right on to Prinsep St before making a final left turn on to Short St where parking is available in nearby car parks.
