You often ask us: “What are you guys actually drinking right now?” (Or some variation of it when you’re staring at our extensive wine menu).
Instead of gatekeeping, our Head Sommelier Meng decided to curate a dedicated selection of “What We Drink at BWF” pours —bottles that hit the absolute sweet spot of being incredible value and perfectly ready to drink right this second.
These are the exact bottles the team wouldn’t even blink before popping open ourselves. Expect everything from weird, geeky scout discoveries to new, must-try modern classics.
If Meng’s drinking it, you already know you can’t go wrong.

Nagasaki to the counter. 80kg of pure theatre.
Raising a glass to the crowd that packed the room and drank us completely out of our Japanese labels. We wanted a high-voltage, beautiful blur of a night, and you delivered.
If you missed out this time, keep an eye on the feed so you don’t watch from the sidelines on the next one.
Until the next drop. 🙌🏼

Round two. Let’s get reckless. 🔥
This Friday, we’re pouring magnums by the glass because standard bottles are for standard nights.
DJ Petrovich and DJ Namansi are handling the booth. We’ve also got a finger food bar running, so you have zero excuses to leave the floor.
It starts at 9:00 PM. Don’t pace yourselves.

Thursdays are for Omakase.
While the main dining room does its usual thing, eight seats at the counter shift into a whole new experience.
A seasonal menu evolving around what’s looking best from the market. Some dishes keep finding their way back. Some you might be lucky enough to catch once.
Only 8 seats every Thursday.

Meet the Japan lineup of our dreams. We’re fully obsessed. 🇯🇵
We’ve got Domaine Nakajima bringing the absolute heat with a Cabernet Franc, a Merlot, and a dangerously juice-forward Chenin/Sauvignon blend.
Then there’s Beau Paysage ‘Le Bois Tsugane’ ‘22 which is basically a core memory in a bottle. And obviously, the holy grail: Domaine Takahiko ‘Yoichi-Nobori-N’.
They look pretty in the photos, but trust me, they’ll look even better half-empty on your table tonight.
Who’s bringing the energy to match these? Slide in.

80kg of Bluefin Tuna. 4 DJs. 1 Night only.
Torotoro Night isn't just another dinner — it’s a Japanese market-style takeover. Think live butchery, bone scraping in the middle of the crowd, and a standing-room-only energy that hits different when the bass drops. 🔥
Swipe to see what’s on the menu, the Japanese wine lineup, and the selectors keeping the vibe high until late.

Counting down to 18/05 as we prepare for the Ultramarine Wine Dinner.
A few rare bottles that don’t come out often. This will be one to remember.

Frames from the floor, because explaining the vibe is impossible anyway. The beat is up, the wine is flowing, and the kitchen never stops.
The only thing missing from these photos is you. 🙌🏼

In case you missed it — Féry’s here, and it’s not just any pour. After bringing new energy from his days with Armand Heitz, François Lecaillon has breathed fresh life into Domaine Jean Féry. The wines? Fresher, brighter, livelier, and now in the room. ✨
And here’s the rare bit: You’ll be sipping with the winemaker himself on the night.

WINE NOT? CLUB: DOMAINE JEAN FÉRY
Wed, 14 May // 7PM
Burgundy, without the noise.
Domaine Jean Fery is our new WNWC main character.
After working alongside winemakers of the caliber of Armand Heitz, François Lecaillon brought his best ideas, and new life, to Fery’s estate in 2023: natural yeasts, careful barrel selection, and close attention to grape maturity. The domaine’s 36 wines turned fresher, more modern, and full of energy.
a new cellar-master brought from Armand Heitz’ winery brings a deeper, more serious and energetic style.
⸻
Bourgogne Chardonnay En la Monatine of the difficult and scarce 2024 vintage.
Santenay Blanc Perrieres des Croix 23 - a chardo from the soil like in Cotes de Nuits.
Ladoix 2023 - an AOC always interesting to try as it’s almost a Corton-Charlemagne.
Savigny-les-Beaune 1er Cru “Les Peuillets” 22 - a trendy commune made in a transitional year for the domaine.
Vosne-Romanée “Les Cinq Terres” 23 - the diamond in a crown!
