Tried making Korean-style chicken jeon at home this week and honestly? Almost didn't post it because I couldn't stop eating it 😅

Okay confession 😅 I genuinely cannot eat plain rice anymore.
It started because I got so sick of the bottled sambal at the supermarket — you know the type, all sugar, zero kick, tastes like nothing. Half the time I'd rather just eat my food plain than waste it on that. So I started making my own at home… and now there's no going back 🌶️
Ended up with two, because I couldn't pick one. The Belacan is the spicy-tangy one that actually punches back. The Kicap is sweet-smoky and a bit gentler, for when you're not trying to cry over your dinner 😂 Both homemade, both halal, no weird preservatives — just real chilli doing real work.
The best part? Even sad leftover rice or a plain fried egg suddenly tastes like something I'd actually order. One drizzle and the whole meal changes ✨
