Hello, June.

Slots for June are now open, no slice sale this month - next slice sale TBD.

I’ve talked about this “next phase” for a long time. But as with life, things come and go outside of the plans I make. After many delays, twists and turns, we are finally at a good spot to start peeling back on our cake selections while we move into working on our private dining project, .sg. July’s slots won’t be open until we have a clearer picture of how our world is going to look like with everything going on.

CAKE UPDATES
When June arrives, it means that it’s peach season!!
Your beloved peach, lychee and oolong cake makes a return.
We’ve removed the guava cake + cheesecake and replaced it with the guava and lychee cheese tart (shoutout to Yufeng - you’re the reason why I decided to put this tedious to make number on).
My new favourite chocolate, banana and macrona almond tart is now on the menu.
We’ve sprinkled in regional ingredients like local bananas and Gula Melaka into more of our bakes as they provide a depth and richness that I appreciate and love.

We will not be able to accept requests for other flavours that aren’t listed on the website. 🙏🏻

Cakes by the slice are available on most months on one selected day of the month - we’re skipping it for June, next one is TBD.

Phew, our first slice sale from our new space. Had a lot to reflect on. I crazily wanted to take in more orders to please everyone but that also pushed the limitations to what one person can do. I appreciate all the feedback and kind words which helps me to make little tweaks on how to make things better. I’m thinking a lot these days on how to make more intentional choices to reshape the offerings we have. On some days I rewrite an entire new plan for how we want to present our bakes. 😅 It has never been about how to scale up and be a big boss, but it has always been about me and you. What new delicious flavour combinations can we make the form of cake. What little slices of fun and happiness can we bring into this messy world.

Every slice sale, we try to put out one-off items (and maybe keep some on the mainstay if the response is good) to keep things fun.

This round’s special, we did a 72% dark chocolate (triang, single origin from Malaysia) paired with a pisang berangan caramel, macrona almond kataifi crunch on an almond crust. I like how the banana had a good meaty texture and was sweet and sour. The acidity paired well with the nutty chocolate. Almonds rounded out the flavour. We love how macrona almonds from Spain have a subtle marzipan flavour.

Pink guava and lychee tart was also a delicious floral number. Whipped guava cheese topped on genoise brushed with lychee syrup, guava curd on our cookie crust and lychee pieces.

I’ll be adjusting the offerings as we move into June. We will be starting our private dining .sg soon so cakes will wind down for a bit.

Also, please remember to refrigerate the strawberry preserves. 😬

Our first home reel!!

I am so thankful that my family lived with my baking for the past couple of years and we got to spend so much time together, but there was a lot of compromise and friction. I am missing my family but also at the same time, grateful for the space we have making it a lot less stressful. There’s always a trade off. 🥲

I hope to share more with you! I’ve so many dreams for the space we have now (like intimate baking together/cake decorating sessions?). Sunday brunches?? Cake and coffee dates??

Strawberry + gardenia blossom green tea is back on the menu.

Vanilla cake is filled with a gardenia blossom tea milk jam, fresh strawberries and the same tea infused strawberry jam held together with yogurt and strawberry buttercream.

While white strawberries are around, the cakes will be decorated with them, if not replaced with red.

This flavour will be around until end May or until the berries aren’t in season. June is always the arrival of peaches!!

We’re slowly settling into our new place in Fernvale, embracing the new season! So apt for the season of spring.

To ease back into the rhythm, our menu has been streamlined for now, and we won’t be taking customised orders until further notice.

We’ve also consolidated everything into one webstore: littlefavors.kitchen.
Our FAQ, terms & conditions, and updated pick-up and delivery details can all be found there.

New seasonal flavours:

Strawberry, sakura leaf & pistachio fraisier

Our spring favourite! Strawberry & sakura (cherry blossom) leaf.
Cherry blossom leaf has a sweet bitter almond-like aroma, when paired together with pistachio, it comes together as a perfumed nutty flavour. Floral strawberries tie these flavours together.

Genoise is lightly soaked in cherry blossom green tea syrup and filled with fresh strawberries and a pistachio and cherry blossom leaf diplomat cream. It’s finished with cherry blossom leaf chantilly.

That’s a wrap for march’s slice sale!
The fun part about doing a slice sale once a month is that we get to bake your favourites but also introduce one off flavours that don’t make sense when they’re made in small quantities but because this is somewhat like a group buy, we can do these fun things!!

Just a quick update, we are have fulfilled our last orders out of Simei this week.

The webstore will be closed from now until further notice as we move into our new home in Jalan Kayu.

Things are happening in little bits and pieces during this period, so we won’t be committing to reopening dates just yet. We’ll share more updates when everything settles down.

This is the last week to get your cake fix! Preorders for the slice sale on 14/3 closes tonight - some items are still available.

We will also be closed from 15/3 and possibly the whole of April as we move and settle into our new space. I kept saying that I’ll take a break but I never really did since … November 2025. Even during closures, we were still doing backend things to clear out and worked on new things or preparing for events (I’m learning how to say no for the sake of my health 🙂).

Lih and I will be focusing on .sg as we move into our next chapter. Little favors may take a back seat (possibly downsizing the menu but keeping favourites and sneaking a seasonal special).

Whole cakes are not available on 14/3 as we’re at full capacity and we only have what’s available on the website.
Please plan to collect them on 12 or 13/3 and preorder with 3 days lead time!

March updates

14/3 is the last slice sale from Simei
Preorders open on 1/3 at 8pm
Let me know if you have any flavour requests!

Parmesan and pineapple tarts will also be available for all the open dates of March.

Dates after 14/3 will not be open until further notice as we may be making our move to Jalan kayu at the end of the month! Will update as soon as we have news.

I’ll also be selling off some baking/cooking related items. Possibly posting them on the site this weekend!

1. Take the MRT to Bugis Station (EW12/DT14).
2. Exit the station and walk towards Victoria Street.
3. Continue walking along Victoria Street until you reach Bras Basah Road.
4. Turn left onto Bras Basah Road and walk for about 5 minutes.
5. Look for the entrance to Raffles Hospital on your right.
6. Enter Raffles Hospital and follow the signs to the food court area.

Driving/Parking:
1. From the city center, head south on Stamford Road.
