Dear friends of Steeple’s Deli,
With the recent en-bloc of Tanglin Shopping Centre, we are sad to announce that our doors have been closed since 29 April 2023, and would like to thank you for your support and friendship over the last 42 years.
It was incredible to see so many familiar faces return over the last few weeks of operations, and we were moved by all your stories, from your childhood visits to now bringing your own children over! We are honored to have been a part of your life and would love to continue growing alongside you.
Thank you for the great times, Steeple’s Deli. It’s not a goodbye, but a see you later!

Located in Tanglin Shopping Centre, this deli and sandwich shop can be accessed by both public transport and car. For public transport, the nearest MRT station is Orchard (NS22), with a transfer to bus 111 or 174 from the bus interchange. Alight at the stop opposite St Regis Hotel and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the shopping centre.
For those who prefer to drive, there are several parking options available at Tanglin Shopping Centre. Located off Grange Road, visitors can park in the shopping centre’s underground car park or use valet parking services at St Regis Hotel. Additionally, there are nearby open-air car parks such as Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) Campus 3 Car Park, Singapore Management University (SMU) Car Park and National Youth Council Car Park.

It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to Steeples Deli, the first deli in Singapore and an institution in its own right. For 42 years, this deli has been the go-to place for gourmet sandwiches and other deli delights. The recent en-bloc of Tanglin Shopping Centre has forced the closure of Steeples Deli since April 29, 2023.
The outpouring of support from loyal customers during their final weeks of operation was overwhelming. It was touching to see so many familiar faces return to relive their childhood memories and create new ones with their own children. Steeples Deli has been honored to be a part of so many people's lives and will always cherish those memories.
Despite the closure, it's not goodbye but rather a "see you later" for Steeples Deli. The owners have expressed their desire to continue growing alongside their loyal customers in the future.
Steeples Deli may no longer be open for business, but its legacy will live on as a beloved establishment that served up delicious food and created unforgettable memories for generations of Singaporeans.
