Inspired by Eliot’s time in London and the smell of Notting Hill Carnival. Disclaimer: there was no herb scent there, it was probably just wafting out of his pores.
The tender, medium rare pork neck gets a proper jerk rub loaded with allspice, oregano and orange peel before it mercilessly hits the grill. Once it’s ready, it’s dished out with jerk sauce made from orange, habanero, burnt jalapeños and tomato and even served with a slaw to wake the palate up.
All that’s missing? A Red Stripe, probably, but we have Chipper to pair with this bad boy, which is just as good (if not better).

Good food and good booze, all in good company. That’s pretty much the idea.
Buckle up, settle in and enjoy the trip to flavourtown.

Officially, one year. One year of incredible wine, borderless soul-food, inventive cocktails and mischief.
To wrap up the anniversary festivities, here's a very heartfelt note from Eliot that we've typed out to save you from reading his chicken scrawl 🐔🐔🐔
Also, if you weren't able to catch us last week, we've got great news. We're extending our 'Best of 2025' menu due to popular demand! See you on the flip side.

If you know, you know. Our burrata is a mainstay that has been around since we opened (crazy, we know, but it’s just that good).
Curried pumpkin and burrata under a mountain of fried onions— it’s a symphony of sweet, salty, and crispy that goes well with anything on the table.
If you’re looking for a guilt-free, low/no ABV refreshment, make it a can or two of TINY (Hazy, Lager or Stout). Our friends at make sure you have a good time without needing to worry about any consequences aside from a craving for more 😛

Magpie Singapore, located on Eng Hoon Street, is a culinary gem that offers a delightful experience for food enthusiasts. The restaurant prides itself on its "borderless soul-food," showcasing a unique blend of flavors inspired by various cultures.
One standout dish is the pork kofte, which is crafted with care and precision. These tender meatballs are made from scratch, combining pork, fresh herbs, and creamy yoghurt to create an explosion of flavor. They are best enjoyed with Magpie's freshly baked bread, perfect for soaking up every bit of the deliciousness.
Another highlight is their smooth and creamy hummus, elegantly topped with gordal olives, cara cara oranges, radish, and Lebanese cucumber drizzled in a zesty sumac dressing. This vibrant dish pairs beautifully with warm tandoor bread—a classic combination that never disappoints.
Magpie Singapore also emphasizes quality sourcing by partnering with local farms like Weeds and More. Their commitment to farm-to-table principles ensures that diners enjoy fresh produce while supporting smallholder growers in the region.
With its inviting atmosphere and exceptional menu offerings, Magpie Singapore promises a memorable dining experience that celebrates the joy of good food.
