From Tiong Bahru to Joo Chiat, a little birdie is making the trip east.

For one Thursday evening on 28 May, chefs and of flutter east to Upstairs at for a collaborative supper, where Casa classics disappear into Magpie’s wonderfully unruly world of borderless cooking — only to return a little louder, slightly stranger, and arguably far more dangerous.

Inspired by Eliot’s time in London and the smell of Notting Hill Carnival. Disclaimer: there was no herb scent there, it was probably just wafting out of his pores.

The tender, medium rare pork neck gets a proper jerk rub loaded with allspice, oregano and orange peel before it mercilessly hits the grill. Once it’s ready, it’s dished out with jerk sauce made from orange, habanero, burnt jalapeños and tomato and even served with a slaw to wake the palate up.

All that’s missing? A Red Stripe, probably, but we have Chipper to pair with this bad boy, which is just as good (if not better).

If you know, you know. Our burrata is a mainstay that has been around since we opened (crazy, we know, but it’s just that good).

Curried pumpkin and burrata under a mountain of fried onions— it’s a symphony of sweet, salty, and crispy that goes well with anything on the table.

If you’re looking for a guilt-free, low/no ABV refreshment, make it a can or two of TINY (Hazy, Lager or Stout). Our friends at make sure you have a good time without needing to worry about any consequences aside from a craving for more 😛
