What people say
Loh Nam Tai is a noodle house that has been serving delicious food since 1934. The restaurant was originally founded by the first generation of the Loh family, who sold liquor in their Peranakan shophouse in Batang Melaka, Malaysia. Over the years, the business evolved and changed to selling chicken rice and noodles. Today, Loh Nam Tai's chicken rice business has been operating since 1994 and has expanded to Singapore with the help of family members and relatives.
One of the highlights of Loh Nam Tai is their speciality 1970s wanton noodle, which has the same great taste but with enhanced flavor and improved quality. The restaurant takes pride in using premium ingredients to create their dishes, ensuring that every bite is a burst of flavor.
What sets Loh Nam Tai apart from other restaurants is their commitment to maintaining strict family protection. Despite being approached by interested parties for franchising opportunities, Mr. Loh Hon Chong rejected them multiple times to protect his family's legacy.
Overall, Loh Nam Tai is a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious noodles and chicken rice dishes made with premium ingredients. With its rich history and commitment to quality, it's no wonder why this restaurant has been around for generations and continues to expand its reach across Malaysia and Singapore.
