Many opt for the Fiorentina, but here’s where the Costata wins the battle:

Cut from the rib section, the Costata carries heavier marbling throughout the meat, giving it a richer, juicier flavour with a more buttery texture in every bite. Without the tenderloin attached, the focus stays entirely on deep beef character, caramelised crust, and that melt-in-your-mouth fat that steak lovers chase.

If you like bold flavour over lean elegance, the Costata might just be the superior cut.

Got the fiorentina 🥩 and it was so yums. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Beef was tender. Uni butter squid ink pasta was also good.

For desserts we really liked the sticky toffee pudding.
