AN EXCLUSIVE ST. MARTIN’S GOOSE DINNER
In Germany and Central Europe, goose is a cherished winter tradition, traditionally enjoyed for St. Martin's Day on 11 November and again as a festive centrepiece on Christmas Day. Legend has it that St. Martin hid in a goose pen to escape being appointed bishop, but the cackling geese gave away his location—making roast goose the traditional hero of this seasonal harvest banquet ever since.

MEET YOUR HOST, PETER MANDL
Born in the Wachau region to a family of restaurateurs and w**emakers, Peter Mandl grew up immersed in hospitality. After working at acclaimed w**eries like Hirtzberger, Donabaum, and Holzapfel, studying W**e Business, and co-founding a boutique w**ery with his brother, he joined Stift Göttweig in 2017. Following a stint with natural w**emaker Claus Preisinger, Peter returned to Göttweig to lead global sales while remaining active in the vineyards from pruning to harvest.

Founded in 1083 and managed by Benedictine monks since 1094, Weingut Stift Göttweig is one of Austria’s oldest monastic w**e estates. Today, the estate spans roughly 30 hectares in the Kremstal region, crafting elegant w**es that reflect the unique character of its terroir.

Public Transport:
1. MRT: Take the East-West Line (Green Line) and alight at Jurong East MRT Station. From there, transfer to the Jurong East Bus Interchange.
- Bus: Take bus number 334 or 335 from Jurong East Bus Interchange and alight at the bus stop opposite JCube along Jurong Gateway Road.
- Walk along Jurong Gateway Road towards Westgate Mall. Gateway Drive is located right next to Westgate Mall.
