With a heavy heart, it has come to a time for our O’My Kampong Cafe @ Sengkang Riverside Park to say our goodbye.
The vision of O’My Kampong Cafe has always been to bring back the kampung spirit of the yesteryear’s and extend to the youths of today. We thank you for your years of patronage and hope that you have been able to connect well with your family and friends and enjoy the experience and the local food that we have crafted for you.
O’My Kampong Cafe @ Sengkang Riverside Park will operate till Sunday 13 November 2022. We hope to see you, our dearest friends before we depart. We hope this will not be a goodbye forever because whilst our physical outlet may cease to operate, we hope you will all keep the spirit of O’My Kampong alive in your own neighbourhood and continue to connect well with each other.

Posted • 🇸🇬 Today I will share with you one interesting place selling food inside Sengkang Riverside Park named O’My Kampong.
O’My Kampong is a Halal food and beverage cafe under Old Chang Kee Group that is having 60s kampong village setting concept.
I started to know this place when I took Sengkang LRT and I was curious to try because I was amazed with their park scenery and nature ambience.
So in the end, I asked my friend to go to O’My Kampong and here we are visiting this place.
We ordered O’My Kampong Chicken Buddy Meal ($11.90) and Kampong Spirit Platter B ($11.90).
O’My Kampong Chicken Buddy Meal consists of half chicken with four pieces of rice balls, chilli sauce, brown sauce and fried shallots with oil.
This rice balls is like Malaysian version of chicken rice because the shape of the rice is like a ball. This O’My Kampong Chicken Buddy Meal is delicious, especially if you mix this with chili sauce, brown sauce and fried shallots with oil.
Kampong Spirit Platter B consists of six sticks of chicken satay, six pieces of chicken nuggets, three pieces of gyoza and one portion of fries.
I do believe these snacks are the same with snacks that you can buy from Old Chang Kee (except chicken satay).
My friend also tried pie and puff.
For the drink, I tried Iced Honey Lemon ($2.50). It’s refreshing.
Overall we were really pleased with the food and the park scenery.

Posted • Had a lovely Saturday morning cycle with MOS Prof , SPS and fellow members of the Active Mobility Advisory Panel around the beautiful Sengkang and Punggol area. Over the past decade, the area has transformed tremendously, with many spots around the district reminding me of waterways planned for leisure in countries such as , and . With limited land space, Singapore is incredibly challenging, having to design to balance the needs of different users on our roads and pavements. This makes me appreciative of the efforts by Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore on how they managed to connect various park connectors and cycling tracks within the estate.
Looking forward to doing more for active mobility in Singapore in the coming years!

To get to Anchorvale Street in Singapore, you can take the MRT and alight at the Sengkang MRT station. From there, you can take a bus or walk to the location.
If driving is an option for you, you can drive along the Tampines Expressway (TPE) and exit at Punggol Central. Turn left onto Anchorvale Street and look for available parking spots in the area.
