Hey folks! Please note the following closure for our Tekka Food Centre stall.
Our stall will be closed from 26 March to 5 April 2026 (Thursday to Sunday), including the Tekka Centre cleaning closure on 30 and 31 March (Monday and Tuesday).
Business will resume on Monday, 6 April.
The stalls at Hawkers' Street Square 2 (Novena) and Bukit Panjang Plaza will be operating as usual from 9am to 9pm daily.

Are we open on 1 January 2026?
It is our 12th anniversary at Tekka Food Centre! Of course we are!
2025 was a year of change for us as we stepped out of our comfort zone and explored the idea of having more stalls in Singapore. As very traditional hawkers, all three generations of our family have always been proud and fiercely protective of our bowl of prawn noodles.
The idea of hiring outsiders to prepare our food took a lot of courage to accept. With the opening of our outlets at Hawkers’ Street in Square 2 and Bukit Panjang Plaza, it also came with intermittent streams of negative feedback that echoed our initial fears.
“Your outlet soup not as nice as the one at Tekka leh.”
“So crowded and more expensive. I won’t go again.”
“Refill soup need to pay money? You not getting my business again.”
Our answer? Of course it needs to be paid for lar! The soup is made with many costly ingredients. If it was not good, you probably would not even consider asking for a refill.
Taste is subjective, but our toughest critics are ultimately ourselves. This is our family’s reputation on the line. We have taken steps to create SOPs, standardise key elements of our food, and put feedback loops in place. Nobody wants our food to stay exactly the same as how Hae Mee Soh lovingly prepares each bowl at Tekka more than we do.
Unfortunately, we cannot clone Hae Mee Soh and her husband also don't know what to do with more than one wife.
So we are satisfied to maintain a consistently high standard at our current and future outlets. We will always aim for 100 percent, but realistically, we know it is close without ever being identical.
Thank you for continuing to support us across all our outlets as we work towards bringing our noodles closer to your home and office.

Thank you all for the immense support over the past three days at our outlet in Square 2!
We are still working hard to meet our usual standards and adapt to the new challenges of operating in a foodcourt environment.
