Yuzu cheesecake and caramelised apples, all stacked atop a buttery oat shortcrust. A citrus burst from the yuzu cheesecake and yuzu glaze, combined with the tartness of fresh grannysmith apples!! Kinda sweet, slightly sour, yet refreshing. The flaky shortcrust is also one of the stars here. ✨✨✨

We all grew up eating a childhood snack that still stays with you even when we are older. And ours is cereals! Think Froot loops, Frosties, Coco Pops - we used to bring these small boxes to school!

Milo sticky loaf filled with milo gao cream cheese 🔥🔥 This moist and sticky cake goes so well with the creamy centre 🥲🥲🥲
Whenever I drink Milo, I always stop myself from stirring that thick layer of Milo that settles at the bottom, just to get that Milo gao goodness when I’m almost finishing my drink. Is it just me? 😂 Recreated that gaoness in this sticky loaf, and of course, siew dai!
This shot cannot justify the goodness of this loaf. You gotta try it yourself👌🏼
Fun fact: Not all milos are created equal. We use Australian Milo for that extra milkiness!

“Eat more black sesame! Can make your hair black!” was what I heard growing up. Never understood why I was told this even though my hair was already black 😂 Yes, I started eating black sesame since young because apparently, my hair “wasn’t black enough”.

4 years ago, Butterlight started with whole rolled oats famous amos style cookies. However, commitments from this game of life led to a hiatus that lasted for 3 whole years. With the encouragement of friends and family, we took courage and got back to baking in August last year.
This month marks our one year after our 3-year break. Since this month coincides with our nation’s birthday, we’ve come up with a bakebox that contains our childhood favourites! Not only is this box a representation of local flavours, but also of my sister and I. And because we grew up eating oats, yes, oat flour is incorporated in all these bakes too!
Here’s Horlicks Butter Thins!!!!!! I love milo, but I love horlicks too 🥺🥲 Malty, crisp, with the fragrance of golden churn butter. Oh so good!!!
