After almost eight years, Gaston has been selected for the MICHELIN Guide 2026. What a milestone for our little corner of Bourgogne in Singapore. ❤️
A restaurant is only as good as the people who bring it to life every day. So first, a huge bravo to our kitchen team, led by the handsome Chef Yadi, alongside Russell, Aaron and Hasyim.
And just as much love to our stars on the floor: our manager Mr Bhuwan, Miss Amira , Ms Jenna and Mr Terence, who make everyone feel at home from the moment they walk in.
Gaston has always been a place to share a meal, a bottle and a story. You might come in for a quick bite, stay much longer than planned, and leave having made a new friend. Sometimes one glass becomes three bottles, the stories get a little louder, and suddenly it’s closing time. That’s the Gaston we love: a place where you can relax, have fun and feel at home.
To every guest who has joined us over the years, and to the many who have become dear friends: thank you. You are the reason Gaston exists, and we’re grateful to share this moment with you. 🥂

🏛️L’ABBAYE DE FONTENAY - Burgundy, France
Nestled in a peaceful valley near Montbard in Côte-d’Or, the Abbaye de Fontenay is one of Burgundy’s most remarkable medieval treasures. Founded by Saint Bernard of Clairvaux in 1119, it became a Cistercian monastery devoted to a life of prayer, simplicity and self-sufficiency.
After the French Revolution, the abbey was transformed into an industrial site, which surprisingly helped preserve much of the medieval complex. It was later restored and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.

BASILIQUE DU SACRÉ-CŒUR DE PARAY-le-MONIAL 🔥
Located in the heart of Burgundy, the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Paray-le-Monial is one of the finest surviving examples of Romanesque and Cluniac architecture in France. Built largely during the 11th and 12th centuries, it was closely connected to the powerful Abbey of Cluny, and its design was inspired by the great Cluny III abbey church.
Originally established as a monastery in the 10th century, Paray-le-Monial became a Cluniac priory, reflecting the enormous spiritual and cultural influence of the Benedictine monks throughout medieval Burgundy. Its harmonious proportions, rounded arches, sculpted capitals and elegant stonework make it a particularly beautiful expression of Burgundian Romanesque art.

To get to Keong Saik Road, the closest MRT station is Outram Park MRT. From there, you can take Exit H and walk along New Bridge Road until you reach Keong Saik Road.
If you are driving, there are several parking options nearby. You can park at the multi-story carpark at 6 Keong Saik Road or 382 Havelock Road. Alternatively, there is a public car park at 31 New Bridge Road.
Another option would be to take a bus to the area. Bus numbers 61, 166, and 197 all stop along New Bridge Road near Keong Saik Road.
Once you arrive in the area, look out for the French restaurant that is located on Keong Saik Road!
