Meanwhile, back in the reality of running El Cocinero completely by myself...
While he’s searching for his soulmate, the entire kitchen staff (me) is currently throwing a massive, frantic search party for the missing tongs. I swear they were just here two seconds ago! Why do kitchen tools have legs?! 😭🥄
He’s waiting for love. I’m waiting for my brain to remember where I hid the spatulas. We are both suffering, just in very different ways.

They say true love strikes when you least expect it. For them, it was a mutual love for Carnitas. For me, it was just another Tuesday trying not to fight a 20kg sack of onions. 😭🧅
