Breakthrough Café Changi Village Breakthrough Café Changi Village is a French restaurant operated by Breakthrough Missions Ltd, a non-profit Christian halfway house dedicated to helping drug addicts rehabilitate through faith in Jesus Christ. Founded by Pastor Simon Neo, a former addict himself, the café aims to equip individuals with livelihood skills and positive attitudes towards work in preparation for reintegration into society. Today we're so blessed to receive, The New Charis Mission executive team led by Pastor Don and his wife Vanessa. Both the leaders shared their past and presence, in good times and bad times; how God has faithfully carried them through. Today they are nurturing the next generation of leadership. We encouraged one another with God's Word and His amazing stories. Pastor Simon is overwhelmed with joy to see how Pastor Don went through hard times to raise up these leaders of TNCM, and pressed on as an example so that the team can imitate him as he imitates Christ.

Breakthrough Missions is deeply grateful, for the Lord has done great things. We are humbled before God to have had the honor of Minister for Manpower Tan See Leng and Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth of Singapore Low Yen Ling grace our fellowship event at Breakthrough Cafe on 19 September 2024.

We would also like to thank Mr. Philip Ng of the Far East Organization for facilitating this arrangement. It was delightful to see our distinguished guests enjoying their dinner while attentively listening to Pastor Simon's inspiring sharing of Breakthrough's Vision 2024.

The 3 course Set Lunch at $27 is a steal.

Not only are the portions more than sufficient for an average diner, there is no service charge or GST, for now. In appreciation, I think diners make up with generous tips, mostly $10, put voluntarily into the Gratuity Box at the cashier point.
The mushroom soup is premium standard and mains we ordered were tastefully presented and surprisingly tasty beyond my expectations. The desserts were definitely top class.
It is definitely a must visit again eatery.
I found out that the very friendly chef is no ordinary run of the mill chef. Peter Teo, 39, was once the Executive Sous Chef at Singapore’s three Michelin star French restaurant Les Amis and Executive Chef of Les Amis Group’s prestigious restaurants in Hong Kong and Singapore.
Excellent!

5* service and free flow of bread.

Service staff are mainly ex offenders. Property is purchased with generous donations from well wishers.
Hence the low overheads are the reasons for such affordable pricing. I don't expect such prices to remain for long.

Take the MRT to Tanah Merah station, then transfer to bus service 2 or 29 at the bus interchange. Alight at Changi Village Hawker Centre bus stop.

Driving/Parking:
From the city, take the ECP towards Changi Airport. Take exit 2B onto Xilin Ave and continue on Loyang Ave. Turn left onto Changi Village Road. Parking is available along the street or at nearby public car parks.
