We are excited to announce that Head Chef Frederic Goh now leads a new chapter at Po.
No stranger to Singapore’s dining scene, Chef Frederic was formerly the head chef of beloved Peranakan restaurant Godmama, where he is known for celebrating heritage flavours with heart and finesse.
With close to two decades of experience alongside renowned chefs and at established restaurants, he brings a fresh, swoon worthy take to familiar flavours, turning the classics you love into something a little more charming, elegant, and unexpected.

Po’s new menu is almost here, and every dish is a celebration of heritage.
Keep an eye out for one of our standout signature dishes — Sotong Masak Hitam. A true Peranakan classic, this dish features squid marinated in a fragrant spice paste, slow-cooked in its own ink until tender, and finished with crispy fried tentacles for the perfect crunch.
New flavours debut 6 October, next Monday.

Meet Head Chef Desmond Yong — a storyteller through food, rooted in his Hakka and Peranakan heritage. From a young age, he absorbed the rich flavors of his family’s kitchen and you can say that’s when it started all. Inspired by the culinary traditions and techniques from both his childhood and his travels across Southeast Asia, Desmond now leads Po into its next chapter, celebrating multi-ethnicity culinary traditions to create dishes that bring comfort and new life.

Alternatively, you can take bus numbers 5, 16, 33, 63, 123 or 195 and alight at the bus stop just outside the venue. If driving, there is a parking lot available nearby at Central Square.
