International Beer Day lands on Friday 7 Aug, which around here is just Friday.
Our Handlebar Craft Lager and Softale are both brewed locally, to Reinheitsgebot, the German Purity Law that's been around since 1516. Water, malt, hops and yeast, nothing else, made right here in Singapore. Worth raising one on Beer Day, and every other day πΊ

Gillman Barracks is where we started in 1999 and we hope it won't be where we end. With our tenancy expiring in 2030, we hope SLA will assist businesses with relocation.

Here's July's special dish - an appetiser called Vitello Tonnato. Not tomato, tonnato. What means??
It's a Piedmontese (northwestern Italy) dish of cold, thinly sliced veal, topped with a creamy, mayonnaise-style sauce that is flavoured with tuna.
I don't know how, but it's good. And he is actually trained in Italian cuisine, you know. So you should try it too.

To get to the Bar and American restaurant or the Theme restaurant located on Lock Road in Singapore, there are several options for public transport. You can take the MRT to Harbourfront station and then take bus number 408 from the bus stop outside VivoCity shopping mall. Alternatively, you can also take a taxi or Grab car directly to Lock Road.
If you are driving, you can enter Gillman Barracks via Malan Road or Alexandra Road. There are limited parking spaces available within Gillman Barracks, so it is recommended to park at nearby public car parks such as Alexandra Retail Centre (ARC) or Depot Heights Shopping Centre.
Once you arrive at Lock Road, both restaurants are easily accessible within Gillman Barracks. Look out for their respective signage or ask the friendly staff at Gillman Barracks for directions.
