LAST 2 slots remaining for my Mother’s Day Floral Cake ~

There’s something about receiving flowers (in my case, it’s the edible ones) that slows a moment down. On Mother’s Day, that pause feels even more meaningful ~ a chance to honor the women who shape our lives in ways both big and unseen.

This year, I went back to the basics, but it’s not the usual Mango cake that you see in the market ~ layers of delicate sponge cakes filled with light and refreshing Mango 🥭 Mousse and iced with a fluffy dairy whipped cream. The ombré Hydrangeas are individually piped, petal by petal.

I created this cake to capture the many ways we express love and gratitude for our dear MOMS.

I’m keeping it simple this Mother’s Day, and because it’s Mango 🥭 season, I thought of offering my personal favorites: Mango Shortcake and my Mango~Yuzu Almond Mousse Entremet. These 2 cakes are both refreshing and light, featuring my pillowy chiffon cakes layered with whipped cream (Shortcake) or the Mango~Yuzu mousse, and sweet Guimaras mangoes. Or, if you really still want to to go with the classic, you can still order the Caramel Cake.

Please note that the florals for the Mango Shortcake will be Hydrangeas only (but you can choose the color). 🎂 🍰🧁

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s been awhile since I posted here. I’ve been busy traveling for the past month, and purposely deactivated my business account during the Holy Week. Now, I’m back and ready to accept custom cake orders and desserts. I’m very thankful for clients who still order despite the global crisis (inflation due to the war in Iran). Rest assured, I still use the same ingredients to achieve the same quality that my clients deserve.

Joining the trend ~ 2016 versus 2026; 10 years apart, and it’s all about my love for flowers intertwined with my passion for baking ~

Left grid was purely using gumpaste to make sugar flowers; Right grid is dabbling with different mixed mediums (wafer paper, buttercream, vegan paste & cold porcelain) to suit a particular project. 💐

A very special THANK YOU to all my clients who supported me last Christmas. Rest assured that every cake and packaged pastry were baked using the finest ingredients and made in small batches to ensure quality. When I started my baking journey 3 decades ago, the promise of QUALITY is something that must be fulfilled, and this leads to procurement of hard to find ingredients, which may be limited or expensive. Sorry for the lack of posts & updates on my page as I’ve been busy overseeing and baking all your orders & special requests. As soon as the month of December hit, I immediately felt the Holiday rush of gifting.

I just want to thank all of you for trusting me with your gifts of love this Holiday season. For public transport, take the MRT to Chinatown Station (NE4/DT19) and take Exit A. From there, walk towards Smith Street and turn left onto New Bridge Road. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach your destination.

For driving/parking, take the AYE and exit at Maxwell Road. Turn right onto Shenton Way and then turn left onto Maxwell Road.
