Claudia and James gathered their closest at La Terrace for an intimate and wonderfully easy celebration, filling the space with considered touches of fresh greens, butter-yellow blooms, and bright citrus nestled in between.

“The key to the kitchen is staying calm and composed,” says Chee Kah, our Chef de Partie—a principle he lives by on our busiest days.
A technician-turned-chef, Chee Kah brings steady focus, balance, and the occasional mischief to the kitchen team. Having worn many hats across the kitchen over the years, it’s no surprise our Executive Chef labels him our Swiss Army knife.
Chee Kah is most drawn to cold, savoury dishes, from pâtés to terrines, where knife work and thoughtful presentation come together. Chances are, you’ll notice his work before you taste it.

As 2025 draws to a close, we look back with heartfelt gratitude for the many joys shared within our home.
With the opening of La Terrace, our space welcomed new ways to gather, and throughout the year, both our Dining Room and La Terrace came to life with celebrations of every kind—big or small, lively or intimate, some long-awaited, and others unfolding naturally—all made special by the people who chose to spend them with us.
Thank you for filling our year with warmth and laughter. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2026 for many more meaningful moments together.

Warmth, sweetness, and a little indulgence—the flavours we return to at Christmas, poured into two festive cocktails.
Our Cookies & Cream is decadence in a glass, featuring a Carribean cookie-washed rum infused over 24 hours, shaken with cream for a smooth, velvety sip.
Alongside it, the Mulled Wine Spritz draws inspiration from a holiday classic, blending red wine with crème de cassis and winter spices, served chilled with Crémant for a bright, refreshing finish.

This year’s Friends of Claudine welcomed the hearth of Italy for an evening that truly warmed our hearts and our home.
It was a pleasure having Chef in our kitchen to share the generous spirit of Italian cooking, as we celebrated the stories and flavours of our two neighbouring cultures with every table.
