Hi Everyone,
It's been a whirlwind of mixed emotions and after much deliberation, we want to share that Amber Ember will be officially closing. This was a tough decision as Amber Ember is home to us.
As we embark on new journeys and endeavours, our team will also be heading off to new adventures. It's the end of a chapter, but also the beginning of countless new stories.
Looking back at what we have built in the last 5 years, we want to express our deepest gratitude. To our team who's been fiercely loyal and our solid rock, to our industry partners turned friends, and to our cherished customers who've helped us build this wonderful community โ thank you. You've stood by us through the highs and lows, and are the reason we made it this far.
Rather than saying goodbye, we'd like to think of it as a "see you around". Amber Ember was never intended to just be a physical space, but an emotion of warmth, so may we hold a bit of that Amber Ember glow wherever we go ~
The lights aren't dimming just yet though! It's business as usual for now, serving you with smiles (okay, maybe a few tears) till December 17 2023, Sunday. Come hang out, share some love, and savour your last sips with us.
Much Love,
Abigail and Clarence xx

Peru | Silvestre Llanos ๐ต๐ช
These Caturraโs produced by Silvestre and his family are fermented for 48 hours before being washed, resulting in a clean and layered flavour profile that is super comforting. Look out for notes of caramelised almonds, apple compote and golden sultanas.
Weโve been patiently waiting for this, and we hope youโll enjoy it as much as we do. Big ups to our friends at for always delivering that good good โฅ๏ธ

Weโre never missing out on delicious coffees from around the world, thanks to our friends at โ๏ธ
These are some recent additions to our espresso/brew bar.
1 ) Nicaragua, Linda Vista (Espresso) ๐ณ๐ฎ
The first Nicaraguan release from Cata Coffee since 2017, these anaerobic natural Caturra's are less funky than what one would expect. It is fruity and clean with flavours of papaya and red dates. Simply beautiful on espresso. The quality of coffees coming from this origin, despite the types of adversity that the producers have had to go through, has been nothing but amazing.
2 ) Ethiopia, Koke Shalaye (Filter - V60/Black Cold Brew) ๐ช๐น
From the smallholder producers in the area of Koke, Yirgacheffe, this coffee was produced using the 'natural process', an age-old processing method that stems from Ethiopia. Look out for notes of nectarine, rock melon and white blossom florals in this vibrant and complex cup.
3 ) Costa Rica, Don Alfonso: #2 Thermic (Filter - V60)
Coming from the second of two micro-lots in the Robelo family's Aquiares Estate, Don Alfonso #2 is a 100% Esperanza varietal. A hybrid of Sarchimor and Ethiopia 531 cultivars, this varietal is unique to Aquiares and it has been produced using a special thermic anaerobic natural process. Notes of passionfruit and dried persimmon, with a rich vanilla finish, makes this a really special one.
