Yakitori can be simply translated to “grilled chicken”, from Japanese word yaki (grill) and tori (chicken).

They are usually made to order and cooked over charcoal for its fragrance 😋.

At Yakizen Izakaya, we made our own special savory Yuzu Sambal to pair with our yakitori. Our chef using a unique method to grill the meats so that they remain juicy when you eat them 😋🤗

For driving/parking, from Central Expressway (CTE), take exit 7A towards Jalan Bahru Road. Turn left onto Jalan Bukit Merah and continue straight until you reach Chinatown Point. Turn left onto New Bridge Road and then left again onto South Bridge Road. Finally, turn right onto Lorong Telok. Parking is available along the street or at nearby car parks such as Clarke Quay Central Car Park or People’s Park Complex Car Park.
