Thank you so much for being next to us in this long journey.
Your cheers and critiques kept our team going. It is hard to believe it has been six years and 10 months since we fried our first ayam for business.
Uptown Malaysian Nasi Lemak is closing on 12 June 2026.
Also a special extended thanks to team Uptown - Mons, Kak, Azhar and extended family for sticking through thick and thin.

We regret to update that Uptown Malaysian Nasi Lemak is no longer Muis Halal certified due to challenges faced in obtaining renewal certification for our Muslim staff.
Our team's commitment to serve our Muslim customers has not changed. Ingredients used at Uptown remain sourced from Halal certified suppliers.
We intend to continue pursuing certification in the near future.

Dear customers,
It is final kopek at our City Gate, Beach Road outlet as we are closing it permanently next week on Wednesday, 28th August 2024. Our shop remains open till Tuesday, 27th Aug.
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to serve the community. It was an amazing experience to meet new customers and see familiar faces. If the world is a desert, your support was like ice-cold mountain spring water to our team. 🙏
