Life is joy, laughter, pain and sorrow...all at the same time. Our family is no different and behind every perfect picture, there are stories to be told about aspirations and challenges in every aspect of our growth as a family. But through it all, the journey towards securing our family bonds, seeking Peace rather than perfection, is what makes our life on this earth most meaningful.
Today, on Mother’s Day, our family honors all mothers, grandmothers, and really to all women out there. You are the bedrock and a beacon of truth and light to our families and a great source of inspiration for everyone.
Our family also honors Marie on this Mother's Day. Marie has been solid as a rock...never wavering and always caring for her family throughout the ups and downs. Her tenacity and will to succeed is admirable and she hopes to make her children resilient and confident young adults in the years to come.
Her Laotian "kampung" roots have settled nicely in metropolitan Singapore...so here begins a new beginning with our new name, Maprao by Marie. So aptly named in our humble opinion.
Thank you all for entrusting your cake needs to us the past year and most certainly this weekend! It has been an extraordinary weekend and we are so happy to be part of every celebration of Mummy’s and of your lives. 🙌🙌🙌
Happy Mother’s Day! 🤗

What would we do without her?
Our moms are our cornerstone in our lives. She brought us into this world and nurtured us. She was always there when we needed her, yet never imposing and always supportive. She rejoices in our happiness and endures in silence when she senses our pain... we are all so blessed to have our moms.
Paul admires his mother for her resilience and faithfulness. Despite all that she has gone through, she remains steadfast and unwavering in her love for God, her children and family. She is 79 years old this year.
Sadly, Marie never knew her mum. Unfortunately, she passed giving birth to Marie and all Marie knew about her mummy was from her siblings, who also became her foster parents. She would have been in her seventies. Paul's mum has been a mother to her since she came to Singapore 12 years ago and it has blossomed into a wonderful relationship.
This Mother's Day, do something different to celebrate Mummy. Add some colour, bring new beginnings, and remind her of the gem she is with the Pandan Coconut with Rubies!
This is our version of the famous Tub Tim Grob (Thai Red Rubies dessert), but in a cake! ❤️
Available in Medium size for Mother's Day this weekend and throughout the year. They are good for 6-8 pax, at only $65.

🤍💙💚 Our precious baby turns 1 this month!
A year ago, out of the blue and in a moment of inspiration, we conceived the idea of having this Fresh Coconut Cake. It has become our Signature - THE ORIGINAL.
Hand Grated, Fresh Coconut flesh adorns the ENTIRE surface, something which was never done before. We chose the difficult path but somehow knew it was ours to navigate...and we did.
Every morning for the past year, we break open Fresh Coconuts from Thailand, remove and slice the coconut flesh, all of which goes onto our cakes. Every drop of coconut water is used in our cakes, ice creams, desserts and food. We do not used desiccated or pre-packed Coconut Flesh. It is ALL FRESH.
100% Fresh Coconut 100% Maprao
100% Original
100% Love, Our Heart & Soul
NO Dairy or Whipping Creams...

NO Preservatives...
NO Artificial Flavouring...
Our best selling cake to date....Maprao by Marie’s Original Fresh Coconut Cake - available in 3 sizes ranging from $35 to $75.
