Due to cost factors, Goobne will be shutting down its GREAT WORLD CITY outlet and 18th Jan being its last day of operation. We would like to thanks all the customers for the past years’ of support. ❤️
Goobne Downtown East outlet will continue to operate, we hope to receive your continuous support there, whilst GOOBNE GLOBAL, the Brand’s Master Franchisor, continues to explore new outlet locations.
Origination of Brand name
The company name “Goobne” originates from the term “Goobda”, a Korean word which means to Roast.
Goobne started out in South Korea in 2005, specialising in oven-roasted chicken, baked to perfection without the use of oil. With more than 1,000 restaurants in Korea, Goobne has also expanded overseas and has presence in countries like Hong Kong, China, Macau, Japan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam and Singapore.
Goobne is also featured in NETFLIX ‘s K-Drama series like “Business Proposal” and recently “ Destined With You”. Endorsed by many popular Korean Artistes like Cha Eun Woo, Park Bo Young, Yeon Seok Yoo, Sung Hoon and K-Pop Groups like Girl’s Generation, EXO & recently LE SSERAFIM.

To get to the Korean restaurant at Great World City in Singapore, here are the directions:
By public transport: Take the MRT to Tiong Bahru station (EW17), take Exit A and walk to the bus stop opposite Tiong Bahru Plaza. Board Bus 16 or Bus 175 and alight at Great World City, then walk to your destination.
By driving/parking: From River Valley Road, turn into Zion Road and drive straight till you see Zion Riverside Food Centre on your right. Turn right into Jalan Tiong and turn into Great World City. Park at any available parking lots within the mall.
