With the June holidays upon us, here’s your invite to slow down, gather around, and make a little magic with your little ones.
At JING, every seat at the table tells its own story. With individual hotpot bowls, each guest follows their own whim and fancy. Let laughter rise among the sizzle of our communal grill, and when the last bite is savoured, let the memory linger just a little longer over free-flow Häagen-Dazs ice cream.
Your table awaits – make your reservation in our link in bio 🤎

A legacy recipe passed down by Grandma Alice, carried forward with love by Aunty Veronica, this Udang Masak Nenas (Prawns in Pineapple Curry) is one of our seasonal marinated meats this May. It is spicy, tangy, and has a little hint of sweetness that caramelizes beautifully once it’s on the grill. Have you tried it yet?
Only available till end of May, your table awaits ✨

The food we carry often says more about us than we realise.
This Mother’s Day, we spent some time with Aunty Veronica - whose story and the women around her became the starting point for this year’s collaborative menu - alongside Mdm Aishah, co-founder of JING, and her mother Noran.
What began as a conversation about recipes slowly became one about memory, motherhood, heritage, and all the little ways food carries pieces of home across generations.
A small appreciation for the women who pass down far more than just a recipe to us🤎

At JING, the art of elevating your experience is something we hold dear – our DMs are always open to your suggestions 🤎

The deepest acts of love often happen quietly – in a warm kitchen, through recipes passed down not in writing, but in memory.
This May, we pay tribute to those hands. Together with Aunty Veronica, we present a Peranakan-style menu that weaves together her story and the maternal figures closest to her heart
Here for a limited time, and made with all the love that inspired it. Your table awaits 🤎

As in*******al marriages grow in Singapore, a new generation is navigating identity in ways we never had to. In this episode, Jayina and Aisyah open up about what that really looks like through the eyes of their children. The ones who are already asking and observing, ready to understand more than we give them credit for.
Maybe it’s time we do the same🤍

Each cuisine carries within it the poetry of culture. A few weeks ago, we had an honest conversation with Jayina and Aishah, exploring how the food we grew up with shapes our identity. The timing felt almost serendipitous with the warmth of Chinese New Year and the stillness of Ramadan gracing us in the same period – different traditions yet still rooted in family and reunion.

This season, we felt called to honour the flavours many of us grew up with – the kind that linger in memory long after the table has been cleared. A Malay menu that feels familiar and comforting, reminiscent of mum’s cooking; rich broths simmering, spices blooming in warm oil, the atmosphere simply filled with love and care.
To bring this vision to life, we collaborated with Chef Shamsydar Ani – a passionate food content creator, celebrated for her expertise in Malay cuisine. Her approach is rooted in heritage and heart, preserving recipes that have been passed down through generations and sharing the joy of gathering around the table.
This menu is our tribute to the kitchens that raised us, to the hands that fed us, and to the simple joy of gathering at dusk. We welcome you to join us this Ramadan 🤎
