When the heart is more full than the belly after sending these treats to the migrant workers who build the lavish shelters for us but if you hear their stories and the struggles that they go through, it once again feels that we may never know the laws of karma and of the Universe. Why some of us are so fortunate and spoiled to take things for granted when the same things may look luxury to the others.

Not going to post the full pictures without their permission, just so grounded & overwhelmed with the messages received. Gratitude, Grace in abundance for the one who seeks! 🙇‍♀️❤️🎉

Mawa/Khoya Gujia: Where to begin with this one!

Another special traditional recipe that we are very blessed & grateful to have inherited from the Grandparents.

These Gujias are completely made in Desi cow Ghee, filled with khoya & a good mix of chopped nuts, very mildly sweet and not dipped in sugar syrup (yup, you heard it right & not dipped in sugar syrup and that makes them even more special!)

Friends who have tried certify that you cannot eat just one! These Gujias belong to those special category of festival sweets which you do not get to eat every other day!
They take a lot of effort, time and precision to come alive but all that is worth it when we hear you say, two more please!

The sister of our rich DFDF ladoos is the- Dates, figs & Dry fruits rolls aka DFDF Chikki 😍

These rolls are the powerhouse of energy. Loaded with richness of dates, figs and variety of dry fruits & nuts, they are a staple in SabTera kitchen & fridge (for much much longer shelf life). They are your best friend when you have those hunger pangs and yet wanna satiate it with a quick but healthy bite.
Keep them in your office, pack them for kids' school, pass them on to a preggy friend, a superhuman aka a mother, an overworked colleague, a friend who's fasting on a no-grains diet- you are sure to get everyone's blessings! : )

Kuch meetha ho jaye ? To start anything new , to end a beautiful meal, to gift something special homemade to your loved ones, it would be safe to say that Besan Ladoos are almost everyone's favorite.
However simple looking but the ones who have tried their hands at making them would know how it demands so much of precision to get that right amount of long & slow roasting, that perfect grainy texture to get the perfectly tightly rolled & rounded Besan Ladooooos!!

We hope the pictures speak for themselves. After alot of research and experiment, we are glad to have perfected the recipe for these classic Besan Ladoos.

Made with pure ghee, gram flour and
not overly sweet! Chef's recommendation, do give them a try please :)
